What do you call a group of Princesses? We’ve no clue – but that’s
what we got when European Royal Families descended on Sweden last night
for the wedding celebrations of Princess Madeleine, who is fourth in
line to the throne.
Princesses from Norway, Denmark, Greece and even Bavaria were invited
to toast the happy couple at a wedding rehearsal dinner last night at
the Dorttningholm Palace. And, as you’d expect when that happens, the
fashion stakes were high. Ever the risk taker, Princess Charlene of
Monaco teamed her floor length Armani gold gown with a chic waistcoat.
Crown Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece opted for a 50’s style gown by
Oscar de la Renta. Whilst the bride-to-be’s sister and heir to the
Swedish Throne, Crown Princess Victoria choose to wear a dove grey gown
by Jenny Packham – also one of the Duchess of Cambridge’s favourite
eveningwear designers.
